TLC Children's Place offers a unique educational experience in a loving environment that caters to the mind/body/spirit of each child through a Montessori/Reggio curriculum.

The Nest - Infants (6 wks. to 15 mo.)

The infant room fosters the development of basic trust and assists in the normal development of the whole child. The infant learns through their senses as they watch and move freely throughout the day. The infants are considered as a whole person and are affected by the quality of emotional, as well as the quality of physical care.

Toddler’s Place (15 mo. Thru 3 yrs.)

The toddler environment offers very young children a unique cycle of self-development in a tender atmosphere of special understanding, respect, and support. This environment is unique in that it provides a very specific structure which fulfills the social, physical emotional, and psychological needs of each young child.

Explorer's Place (3 yr. - 6 yr.)

The Explorer's Place is a "living room" for children. Children choose their activities from open shelves with self-correcting materials and work in distinct work areas - on tables or on rugs on the floor. Over a period of time, the children develop into a "normalized community" working with high concentration and few interruptions.

School Age: Before & After Care

Our Before & After School program provides the children with a safe homelike environment where children are provided with a nutritious breakfast before school and a snack after. Children are offered a quiet place to do homework and opportunities for individual and group tutoring. School age children are provided age appropriate games and activities which offer the opportunity for socialization and self-directed play.

Ages 6 - 12 years old. Before and after school, holidays and special days!

Summer Camp

A Summer Camp format for children when school lets out for the summer. June, July, and August programs are based on a monthly theme. This is a 1/2 day or all day program for kids kindergarten through 6th grade.

Extras Offered - Spanish and Gymnastics

TLC Children's Place also offers extra classes prepared especially for kids! Preschoolers can learn Spanish based on fun activities, games, songs and puppets. The class will be held in the TLC conference room once a week for 45 minutes in 8 week sessions.

A gymnastics class is also being offered for kids ages 2 yrs to 6 yrs. This fun class allows your child to learn basic skills in a safe and stimulating environment. The class will be held on Friday mornings at 9 a.m.
