Trinity Life Center - TLC
Trinity Life Center, or TLC for short, is an
outreach ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, Indiana. This
beautiful 24 acre site, located at the corner of State Roads 13 and 38, includes
soccer fields, a softball diamond, a one mile walking/running track with 12
meditation spots, a concession stand, and a beautiful gazebo, a 7,000 square
foot handicap accessible playground.
The main building includes a childcare and activity center, a gymnasium and classrooms.
TLC MISSION STATEMENT: To be inviting and open to all peoples through diverse ministries that actively exemplify God's grace.
Summer Camp.... We offer a DAY CAMP for school age children. TLC Children’s Place offers 3 - 3 week sessions from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm filled with daily fun and activities. During this time we have lots of outdoor games, cooking, crafts and peacemaking activities. Field trips will also be planed for an additional weekly fee. We also offer before-care if needed. Fall Enrollment..... We are now enrolling for the fall of 2008/2009 School Season. There are a few openings if you are interested in having your toddler or pre-school age child enroll in our Montessori Program. We have a full pre-school at this time and only 4 spots in the toddler class. If you are interested, please contact Angie at 765-534-3642.
Trike-A-Thon in May..... May 23rd TLC Children’s Place will be holding a Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital. Parents help their children gain sponsorship from friends, family, church members, and co-workers. Typically, sponsors either donate a monetary amount per lap or pledge a flat donation amount for the child to participate. After the Trike -A-Thon parents help collect donations from sponsors and turn them into the school coordinator. Children that participate in the program learn riding/toy safety, help St. Jude Hospital and earn fun prizes. If you would be interested in sponsoring one of the children, ask pastor Dawn or Julie Likens for more information. We have a bucket out at Trinity Life Center in the entry-way for you to put your extra change towards this great project.
