TLC Children's Place offers a unique educational experience in a loving environment that caters to the mind/body/spirit of each child through Montessori curriculum.

Care for all ages 6 weeks to 12 years!

The Nest - Infants (6 wks. to 15 mo.)

The infant room fosters the development of basic trust and assists in the normal development of the whole child. The infant learns through their senses as they watch and move freely throughout the day. The infants are considered as a whole person and are affected by the quality of emotional, as well as the quality of physical care.

Investigator's Place (15 mo. to 2 1/2 yrs.)

The toddler environment offers very young children a unique cycle of self-development in a tender atmosphere of special understanding, respect, and support. This environment is unique in that it provides a very specific structure which fulfills the social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs for a very young child. 

Early Explorers Place (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years)

The Early Explorer's Place is an intimate classroom for the children to learn independence and to develop the whole self through learning materials that are self correcting.  We introduce a wide range of concepts in a way that even the youngest children can understand. 

 Explorer's Place (3 yrs. to 6 yrs.)

The Explorer's Place is a living room for children.  Children choose their activities from open shelves with self-correcting materials and work in distinct work areas - on tables or on rugs on the floor.  Over a period of time, the children develop into a "normalized community" working with high concentration and few interruptions.   

School Age: Before & After Care and Summer Camp  (6-12 yrs)

Our Before and After care program provides children with a safe homelike environment where children are provided with a nutritious breakfast and or a wholesome afternoon snack.  Children are offered a quiet place to do homework and opprotunities for individual and group tutoring.  Shool age children are provided age appropriate games and activities which offer the opprotunity for socialization and self directed play.  Service is offered on holidays and special days as well!

Summer day camp is fun and exciting with different themes each session and 2 field trips each week.

Senora's Spanish-garten

Come join in the fun and learn Spanish with a class for preschoolers! Our Spanish class includes games, songs, puppets, and fun activities that build upon what young children already know about the world.  Class will be help inside the TLC conference room once a week for 45 minutes.  Foriegn language acquisition is crucial to learn in the first years of life!  This is a real opportunity for kids to learn another language.  We will continue Spanish classes throughout the school year, with each session concentrating on new and different vocabulary.  For more information, please contact Shawnda Jones.  317-485-5315 or email at kjones1@indy.rr.com.  Look at our website at www.spanishgarten.com.

Martin Sports Academy

Gymnastics:  This fun class allows your child to learn basic skills in a safe and stimulating environment.  This class will enhance your child's coordination, strength and motor skills.  Gymnastics skills and positions are broken down into progressice and easy to learn elements.  Every child is a success as skills are mastered. 

Cheer Bugs:  Cheer and chants, pom, poms, jumps and tumbling.  Gymnastics is held Friday mornings at 9:00am. 

Classes are $35 per month.  Fees are due 1st Friday of the month.  For Ages 2 to 6 years.
